I understand you use a base, it would probably allow more space for improvement if you drew the lines yourself; the white lines on black, if they were thicker and more intentional-looking, would look good, I suggest downloading GIMP or something similar to use for drawing, they have more tools and better options and control than dA muro. Perhaps there could be a background? Even a simple coloured one that resembles paper or something; they're quite simple to draw but need a tool that can run several layers ^^
